When to get an eye test?
This is one of the most common questions we are asked, and to that, we say NOW!
You don’t have to wait till you can hardly make out the words on a page and have to squint till your eyes are almost closed. Always go for an eye test when you experience the slightest discomfort or faulty vision or just go because you can. Our store is easily accessible and requires you to just walk in for an eye checkup. Even if you’re sure you have no eye problems, getting your eyes checked will help you keep it that way. Besides, if problems such as faulty vision are discovered at an earlier stage, then it’s easier to prevent your vision from getting any worse.

What problems do we look for?
There are a number of problems that can be discovered through a simple eye test. Whether you feel the slightest discomfort in your eye or not, we are here to help you out. It is important to note that if a problem is not discovered the first time you get an eye test, this does not mean that you will not need any more checkups. When we say regular checkups for your eyes, we mean every two years. A regular eye test will ensure that you don’t have any of these problems.

With astigmatism, the front surface of the eye has an irregular curve. This can change the way light passes, or refracts, to your retina. This causes blurry, fuzzy, or distorted vision.
Short-sightedness, or myopia, is a very common eye condition that causes distant objects to appear blurred, while close objects can be seen clearly. This condition tends to run in families.
An emergency when part of the eye (the retina) pulls away from supportive tissue. The appearance of many bits of debris (floaters), sudden flashes of light or a shadow in the vision field are symptoms.
